2019

Welcome to 2019! This year holds great promise. All years do whether we choose to see the potential or the process to get there, is up to your perspective. What are you believing for this year? Something I came into this year with was a great sense of the faithfulness of God and his goodness. He is so faithful. Think back to last year. What did you go through in that year? What are the top 3 highlights? What are 3 things that you struggled with or were stretched greatly in? Can you see the hand of God through it?

So often we don't see the hand of God until after the situation. But just because you can't feel him doesn't mean that He is not there. Because you didn't get the result or answer that you wanted or felt that you really needed, doesn't mean that he guide you through it. The start of a new year, month or chapter is an opportunity to reflect, to take the lessons that were learnt, to be grateful for the season, to give thanks for all who God is and to refocus for what's head.

Have you ever thought, what your life or certain situations would be like if God wasn't there? 

What is your perspective going to be this year? Are you going to allow things to discolour your vision, to push you under, or to prevent you from being all that you are called to be? Or instead are you going to see through heaven's eyes, be guided by the Holy Spirit who dwells in you and be stretched for Kingdom purposes?

We have Christ living in us! We pray and ask for his kingdom to come and dwell on earth, but it already dwells within us! We carry the Holy Spirit, we carry the Kingdom. His kingdom is here and now! It is being revealed through his people when they obey, be, are friendly, speak out and when they serve. It is a practical kingdom, it is displayed through practical deeds and motions that are fuelled by the love and the revelation of Jesus Christ. 

We are more than what we reckon or what we believe we are capable of. In Romans 8:31-33 it says that God has determined to stand with us and then who can ever stand against us? God isn't going to withhold from us anything else since he freely gave his Son because we are so dearly loved by him. We are judged not guilty! So let that be what you say when the enemy comes and tries to throw guilt on you. 

We are enabled and empowered not by our own strength, but the power that resides in us. That is the Holy Spirit. We are loved beyond measure. We can't screw up and be out of love. There isn't a certain measure given out to each person. It is unashamed, it loves us when we don't love or like ourselves, it is the champion of our race, it is the cheerleader, it is the one who stands by us, the one who picks us up and cheers us on. We can't run out of this love, nothing can separate us. Then I say, let us run, lets grow and lets stretch beyond what we thought or imagine! Let's show our heavenly Father how much we love him this year. 

Romans 8:35 

'Who could ever separate us from the endless love of God's Anointed One? Absolutely no one! For nothing in the universe has the power to diminish his love towards us. Troubles, pressures, and problems are unable to come between us and heaven's love. What about persecutions, deprivations, dangers, and death threats? No, for they are all impotent to hinder omnipotent love,
